Zurich, 5. May 2000. Fleximation is pleased to announce the Trialpack PC Controller an advanced PC based control system for the Klockner Pentapack EAS Blistermachine providing a subset of the functions of it's Trialpack 600 robotic blister packaging system for clinical supplies.
The Trialpack PC controller is a PC based hardware/software combination to control a EAS unit dose blistermachine adding more format flexibilty, a software shift register and automatic production data recording with optional filling verfication with a vision system.
It also permits to use Trialprint thermal transfer printers to print on the cover foil. This allows flexible printing of information such as patient compliance instructions on the full surface of the inner and outer side of the cover foil.
The Trialpack PC Controller hardware consists of a personal computer (PC) with a digital I/O card. The software consists of two applications Trialpack Designer and Trialpack Controller. Only the Trialpack Controller software has to run on the provided PC. The Trialpack Designer is used to define the blister format and to design the print image. The Trialpack Controller PC software controls the blistermachine and print process during production.
The Trialpack Controller Vision option is a hardware/software combination able to verify the presence of products in blisters before sealing . The option adds a vision PC card, camera and illumination. The associated software checks the blister content row by row just before sealing during production. The vision system is using the configuration data created in the Trialpack Designer and does not require any additional configuration or set-up by the machine operator .
The Trialpack PC Controller is available as a retrofit option for existing EAS blistermachines from Fleximation or through it's worldwide distribution network or with new machines from Pentapack.
