Zurich, Switzerland 22. June 2001. The March 2001 issue of Pharmaceutical & Medical Packaging News featured an article "Sophisticated Packaging for Clinical Trials" describing the Trialpack 600 installed at Pfizers Ann Arbor facilty from a user perspective. Pfizer has found that using robotics delivers significant time and cost savings when packaging multiproduct blister packs.

• The time required to produce a batch of 300 clinical trial blister packages of multiple strengths or multiple drugs has been reduced from 3 days to 6 hours.
• At the same the number of people needed to make those 300 blisters has also been cut from 4-5 people down to one.
